The lateral surface area of a cylinder is:

a=2πrh, we are told that r=1.8ft and h=4ft so

a=2π(1.8*4)

a=2π(7.2)

a=14.4π ft^2

a≈45.24 ft^2  (to nearest hundredth of a square foot)

387,500 /100 = 3,875

I multiplied, because, if you divide with a decimal, the number increases, instead of decreasing... hope this helps!

How do you solve this type of problem?
Aleonysh [2.5K]

The price of ticket last year is $ 1231.65

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that,

This year, Sophia paid $1,071 for season tickets to her favorite baseball team , which is 15% cheaper than last year

To find: Price of season ticket last year

Let the price of season ticket last year be "x"

Therefore, according to question

Price of ticket this year is 15 % cheaper than price of ticket last year

1071 = price of ticket last year - 15 % of 1071

1071 = x - 15 % of 1071

Solve the above expression for "x"

1071 = x - 15 \% \times 1071\\\\1071 = x - \frac{15}{100} \times 1071\\\\1071 = x - 0.15 \times 1071\\\\1071 = x - 160.65\\\\x = 1071 + 160.65\\\\x = 1231.65

Thus price of ticket last year is $ 1231.65

Q. Find the sum of interior angle of the given polygon. Work out the measure of the missing angle. *
SpyIntel [72]

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of sides of the given polygon, n =5

Sum of interior angles =( n-2)180°

=( 5 - 2)180°

= 3*180°

= 540°

Missing angle, x = 540°- (100°+105°+110°+145°)

= 540°- 460°

= 80°

Pavel [41]
So like Texa said. 4.6 * 5.93 = 27.278.
So we are now gonna round the 7 in 27.278.
The 7 in the tenth place.
Look next door 5 or more raise the score.....
So the 7 will become a 8 and you can erase the other 8.
So your answer is!
27.28
