Answer: Awakening of national identity. The people are the state politics and Napoleon.

Explanation:

 • The end of the French Revolution brought with it some changes not only in France but the whole world. When we talk about the reflections of the revolution of modern France, there are several facts in this context. The first is the awakening of French national consciousness. This sense of national belonging and pride is still strongly expressed today by the French. Creating such a feeling will spread from France to many other countries. The French still celebrate the revolution and the revolutionary movement from the end of the eighteenth century onwards. Even today, national festivals are being organized to that effect. Many songs are sung as a sign of celebration, and the French national anthem of Marseilles dates back to this period.
 • Napoleon Bonaparte was directly involved in the course of the revolution. At the outset, he distinguished himself as a capable warlord and demonstrated his abilities as a person on the side of revolutionary ideas. Because of his skills and role, he quickly stood out. After the revolution, he became one of the most influential people in France. Numerous European armies will conquer their operations. The people of France during the Napoleonic heyday will adore the character and work of this famous warlord.

1. explain how judicial review works as a check against congress. answer: 2. what are some roles that the president plays in the
ValentinkaMS [17]
1. explain how judicial review works as a check against congress.

The judicial review checks if the law passed by the congress is constitutional. This limits the power of the congress - without it, it would have unlimited power, and could for example re-introduce slavery. The congress will not do it, because they know that the law would be deemed unconstitutional (due to 13th Amendment).

2. what are some roles that the president plays in the u.s. government?

The president is foremost a Chief of State - that also means the Head of State. This means that the president represents the US, for example during the meeting of the Heads of State.

The president is also Chief Executive - the head of the executive branch of the government. This means that the president has the power to pass certain executive orders directly.

3. what is the civil service and how do people join?
The US Civil Service is the workforce of people working for the Government in non-military positions. They are employed, and not elected, so they don't have terms. Those positions include administrative positions in the government.

Nowadays, the Civil Service hires people like any other employer - though a selective process, where the applicants have to demonstrate their skills.

answer: 4. what is the president's cabinet and what is their responsibility?

The Cabinet is the Council of the heads of the departments - it is the body that the President works with most directly, and it advises the president on their relevant areas of expertise. For example the Head of the Department of Agriculture would advice the president on the topics related to agriculture.

Answer:

Whatever early colonial prosperity there was resulted from trapping and trading in furs. In addition, the fishing industry was a primary source of wealth in Massachusetts. But throughout the colonies, people relied primarily on small farms and self-sufficiency. Households produced their own candles and soaps, preserved food, brewed beer and, in most cases, processed their own yarn to make cloth. In the few small cities and among the larger plantations of North and South Carolina and Virginia, some necessities and virtually all luxuries were imported -- in return for tobacco, rice and indigo exports, which produced large profits in England's London, Bristol and Liverpool markets. In these areas, trade and credit were essential to economic life. Prior to the conclusion of the Seven Years War there was little, if any, reason to believe that one day the American colonies would undertake a revolution in an effort to create an independent nation-state. As apart of the empire the colonies were protected from foreign invasion by the British military. In return, the colonists paid relatively few taxes and could engage in domestic economic activity without much interference from the British government. For the most part the colonists were only asked to adhere to regulations concerning foreign trade. In a series of acts passed by Parliament during the seventeenth century the Navigation Acts required that all trade within the empire be conducted on ships which were constructed, owned and largely manned by British citizens. Certain enumerated goods whether exported or imported by the colonies had to be shipped through England regardless of the final port of destination.
