- prestige, power, access to raw materials, opening up new markets
The Colonial territory in Africa,Asia, and South America provided the europeans with cheap resources and a ton of target market population

The European missionaries often tag a long on the colonist;s ship because the European empire often ordered the people in colonized country to adopt christian religion.

The invention of movable type help spread information and new ideas. Artists and writers flourished. At the same time combination saw trade as well as a way of increasing their well. For centuries, Arab traders had controlled existing trade routes to Africa and Asia, which meant European Merchants were forced to buy from Italy Traders and high prices.
