Ok first you have to understand what parallel and perpendicular means. Parallel means lines that are across from one another, have continuous space between them, and never cross one another. For example railroad tracks never cross over. Perpendicular is like two line that cross over in a cross like position, and it has 90 degrees on each side. For example a cross.
Answer:
N and m, and n and p are perpendicular
M and p and parallel

44 inches.

All you have to do is find out what 10% of 40 is then add it back to 40. In the case of finding 10% of something you just “chop” of the back number (or move the decimal place forward) so 10% of 40 is 4. The. 40+4=44.

You can also multiply fractions to find the percent of a number but that is not necessary in this case.

45) lí the midpoint of AB is (4,3) and point A has coordinates (-2,6),
sweet [91]
Midpoint has a formula x plus x2 divided by 2 and vice versa for y
So to solve you need to fill in numbers
You can replace x with negative 2 since you know that the coordinates for point A are -2,4
Solve to get 10
And vice versa for the y coordinate you solve the filled in equation to get 0
Your end result is 10,0

How do you convert a division word problem into a fraction?
baherus [9]
For example: if the word problem were simply "4 divided by 2", the fraction would be a 4 with a line underneath and the 2 underneath that.

I hope I made this possible to understand... let me know if you were referring to something else!

What are the possible numbers of positive, negative, and complex zeros of f(x) = x6 + x5 + x4 + 4x3 − 12x2 + 12?
gladu [14]
As per Descartes Theorem, a polynomial of degree n (n is the highest exponent of a polynomial) has n roots (or number of zeros) be it positive, negative, real or complex.

in f(x) = x⁶ + x⁵ + x⁴ + 4x³ − 12x² + 12, the highest degree is 6, then it has
a total of 6 zeros, positive, negative, real or complex.
