The following are the three ways in which the labor unions have had a positive impact on federal policies toward workers in the workplace:

 • The demands regarding the basic minimum remuneration paid to the workers by the employers have been accepted by the government and now we can see that there are federal laws regarding how much should the workers be paid at minimum.
 • The federal policies now include strict guidelines that direct the employers to implement for the safety and security of the workers at the workplace.
 • The policies also specify the facilities that the workers need to be provided with so that they can work properly.

Aspirin (ASA) is an over-the-counter drug that is found in many other drugs. What is the mechanism of action for aspirin?
Zinaida [17]

Answer:

Aspirin can be described as a drug which shows anti-inflammatory and analgesic actions. It is one of the most widely used drugs. Aspirin inhibits the COX-1 (cyclooxygenase-1). Cyclooxygenase (COX) is the enzyme which is known to cause inflammation, aches, swellings fever etc by forming prostaglandins (PGs). Hence, aspirin works by inhibiting this enzyme. Aspirin also inhibits COX-2 from the production of prostaglandins but it allows the COX-2 enzymes to produce lipid mediators.

What belief helped support the development of absolutism?
timofeeve [1]

Absolutism is helped along by a sense of need for centralized control over all affairs.

Explanation:

Absolutism often takes over in societies that suffer from disorder and uncertainty about the future whee the people start believing that there is a need for a single strong leader who is authoritative and can do what they want to help the country without any constrictions in their work.

Usually such a view comes at the expense of trusting institutions in the modern world but ends up badly as absolutism is the perfect seed for the dictatorships of the world to prevail in.
