Answer:

Process responsible for the formation of a normal fault.

Explanation:

  • A normal fault is formed when the steep sidewall suddenly drops downwards about the fault. May be caused by the external forces that pull them apart such as gravity and they can be most commonly seen in the divergent boundaries of the plates.
  • The movement of the plates within the earth takes place and thus their motion results into a force that weakens the rocks and makes the two ends of the steep-sided walls rotate and this pattern creates a push and pulls effect as it does with the slabs of rocks that go into the trench deep inside the earth.
  • Fault formation is an erosional feature of the earth tectonic activities and these get created by the major upliftment of new geomaterial form below like the release of gases.

Why are most modern constellations composed of faint stars or located in the southern hemisphere?
vaieri [72.5K]
Astronomers from areas in the northern latitudes developed different constellations and maps of the sky than their southern counterparts, as faint stars weren't visible to them. In the 18th and 19th centuries, there weren't constellations in the southern hemispheres, so astronomers, instead, invented them.
