How did plato's opinion of democracy differ from that Socrates ? Why did it differ
Norma-Jean [14]
Plato was actually a student of Socrates. Their ideals were almost similar but they did differ as far as their opinion on democracy was concerned. Socrates was a great believer in democracy. He was of the opinion that the people possessed real knowledge and all good things were within the people. So he believed that democracy was the only way to gain happiness. Plato on the other hand did not believe in pure democracy, but he believed in Republic Democracy, which is a mixture of democracy and oligarchy.

Which statement about the beliefs of Enlightenment philosophers is correct?
Makovka662 [10]

Answer: D is correct.

Explanation: laws of reason are mere fictions. Philosophy of rights is dedicated to this issue but in its very fundaments there are fundamental questions that are still not answered (becase both laws of nature and laws of reason are products of human intellect, i.e. they cannot be experimentally proved. In spite of its fictitious nature, theese laws became one of the pillars of Enlightenment. French philophers, for example, attempted to ground ethics on mathematics which proved to be inviable.

2 Points
Who created the Contract with America?
Citrus2011 [14]

Hello! The answer to your question would be Newt Gingrich, Armey, Armey Gingrich, Dr Newt Gingrich.

If you are talking about the book I suppose

P.S (Do mind the fact that there is just Armey as one of the authors, the first name is an inappropriate word that Brainly does not allow me to put in)
