Explanation: A monarchy is when you have a king or a queen and it's a way or ruling a country that doesn't have a president or a prime minister. It's based on a family order and it's passed down generation to generation.

England used to be a total monarchy but one of the reasons the colonists left to come to the United States because they didn't want to be ruled by a king or queen but most of it was religious freedom.

A monarchy is a form of government that has a king and a queen. It starts off when they have children of their own, the first born child "son or daughter" they are eligible to become king or queen when their parents die or when they turn 18 years old.
