Hello, please consider the following.

a) You need to replace x by -1.

f(-1)=4*1-3*(-1)+5=4+3+5=12

b) You need to replace x by 2t and simplify.

f(2t)=4*(2^2t^2)-3*(2t)+5=16t^2-6t+5

c) You need to replace x by t-2 and develop, and simplify.

f(t-2)=4(t-2)^2-3(t-2)+5\\\\=4(t^2-4t+4)-3t+6+5\\\\=4t^2-16t+16-3t+11\\\\=4t^2-19t+27

Thank you.

One of the factors of g2 – 28g + 196 is:
IgorLugansk [536]
G^2 - 28g + 196 = g^2 - 14g - 14g + 196 = (g^2 - 14g) + (-14g + 196) = g(g - 14) - 14(g - 14) = (g - 14)(g - 14)
Therefore, one of the factors of g^2 - 28g + 196 is g - 14
