Noah is baking a two-layer cake, in which the bottom layer is a circle and the top layer is a triangle. If segment AB = 5 inches

and arc AB≅ arc AC, what does Noah know about the top layer of his cake? Segment AB is twice the length of segment BC because their arcs are congruent; therefore, ΔABC is an isosceles triangle. segment AB is twice the length of segment BC because their arcs are congruent; therefore, ΔABC is an equilateral triangle. segment AB ≅ segment BC because their arcs are congruent; therefore, ΔABC is an isosceles triangle. segment AB ≅ segment BC because their arcs are congruent; therefore, ΔABC is an equilateral triangle.

Hey There!! I already did this Question before but, I'm just going to say it...

segment AB ≅ segment BC because their arcs are congruent; therefore, ΔABC is an isosceles triangle ⇒ answer D. * Lets revise some facts in the circle

- If a circle is circumscribed around a triangle, then the vertices of the

triangle divide the circle into three arcs

- The three sides of the triangle are the chords of the circle

- Each chord in the circle subtended by an arc

- If two arcs equal, then they are subtended equal chords

* Lets solve the problem

∵ Circumscribed circle D around triangle ABC

- The vertices of triangle ABC lie on the circumference of the circle

∴ AB , BC , AC are the chords of the circle

- Arcs AB and AC are congruent

∵ Arc AB ≅ arc AC

∵ Arc AB subtended the chord AB

∵ Arc AC subtended the chord AC

∴ AB = AC

∵ AB = 6 inches

∴ AC = 6 inches

- The triangle with two equal sides is called an isosceles triangle

∴ Δ ABC is an isosceles triangle

∴ Noah know that the top layer of his cake is an isosceles triangle

* segment AB ≅ segment BC because their arcs are congruent;

therefore, ΔABC is an isosceles triangle.

Which equation is the inverse of y = 16x2 + 1?
Llana [10]

Answer:

y=\frac{\sqrt{x-1} }{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation is

y=16x^2+1

For this function to have an inverse, we must restrict the domain, say x\ge0

We interchange x and y to get,

x=16y^2+1

We now make y the subject to get;

x-1=16y^2

x-1=16y^2

We divide through by 16 to get;

\frac{x-1}{16}=y^2

We now take the square root of both sides to get;

\pm \sqrt{\frac{x-1}{16}}=y

y=\pm \frac{\sqrt{x-1} }{4}

Since  x\ge 0, the inverse function is

y=\frac{\sqrt{x-1} }{4}

Jasmine jumps form 18 ft above sea level to 6 ft below sea level. Kim jumps for, 14 ft above sea level to 5 ft above sea level.
DENIUS [597]

People keep saying they will give 100 points...stop lying!

But Jasmine jumps a total of 24 feet.

Kim jumps a total of 19 feet.

Jasmine jumps farther.

I don't know what the dora que is, but the difference is 5ft.

The function H(t) = −16t2 + 60t + 95 shows the height H(t), in feet, of a projectile after t seconds. A second object moves in t
EleoNora [17]
H(t) = -16t² + 60t + 95
g(t) = 20 + 38.7t

h(1) = -16(1²) + 60(1) + 95 = -16 + 60 + 95 = -16 + 155 = 139
h(2) = -16(2²) + 60(2) + 95 = -16(4) + 120 + 95 = -64 + 215 = 151
h(3) = -16(3²) + 60(3) + 95 = -16(9) + 180 + 95 = -144 + 275 = 131
h(4) = -16(4²) + 60(4) + 95 = -16(16) + 240 + 95 = -256 + 335 = 79

g(1) = 20 + 38.7(1) = 20 + 38.7 = 58.7
g(2) = 20 + 38.7(2) = 20 + 77.4 = 97.4
g(3) = 20 + 38.7(3) = 20 + 116.1 = 136.1
g(4) = 20 + 38.7(4) = 20 + 154.8 = 174.8

Between 2 and 3 seconds.
The range of the 1st object is 151 to 131.
The range of the 2nd object is 97.4 to 136.1

h(t) = g(t) ⇒ 131 = 131

<span>It means that the point where the 2 objects are equal is the point where the 1st object is falling down while the 2nd object is still going up. </span>
