Answer:

Open dot at -1 and shaded to the right.

Step-by-step explanation:

First you have to solve the inequality are you get |y|>-1

Now you can plot the inequality by placing an open dot on -1 since the inequality is greater than.

Since the inequality is greater than, you also have to shade when all y values are greater than -1 so you would shade to the right.

Okay so let’s start with number one you have 2 out of the 3 sides and you have to solve for the third

Let’s call the side you are looking for side A than the side with 13 side B and the side with 29 side C

So
B=13
C=29
A= ?

You would use the equation

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

So

A^2 + (13)^2 = (29)^2

13^2 = 169
29^2 = 841

So

A^2 + 169 = 841

A^2 = 672

A= 4 times the square root of 42

Or if yu need a estimated answer

A= 25.9

You are standing on a middle rung of a ladder. If you first climb up 3 rungs, then down 5 rungs, and then up 10 rungs, how many
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

The total number of rungs on the ladder are 16 rungs .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

At first the climb up number of ladder = 3 rungs

At second the climb down number of ladder = 5 rungs

At third the climb up number of ladder = 10 rungs

Let The total number of rungs on the ladder = x

Now, According to question ,

The total number of climb up ladder = First + Third

I.e The total number of climb up ladder = 3 + 10 = 13 rungs

And The total number of climb down ladder = 5 rungs

So ,  From the middle of rungs =  total number of climb up ladder -  total number of climb down ladder

I.e \dfrac{x}{2} = 13 rungs - 5 rungs

∴ x = 8 × 2 rungs

I.e x = 16

Hence The total number of rungs on the ladder are 16 rungs . Answer
