Answer:

At one point, mosquitoes were susceptible to DDT, which resulted in many mosquito deaths. Some,  however, proved resistant to DDT and survived, passing this resistance on to their offspring. How does th e mutation affect the mosquito population? How does it affect the human population?

It is expedient to know that as a result of resistance developed by mosquitoes due to too much exposure to DDT which has greatly helped them to scale through any form of DDT insecticide. As a result of this, the gene were passed to another generation which makes the DDT not effective and this led to why it increased their population.

Human population is threatened by mosquito as a result of pathogen transmitted that causes several diseases which is affecting human population till date
