Here are my answers:
1. I think that this phrase ON THE TABLE is an adjective phrase.
2. It is an adverb phrase for sure.
3. MY ENGLISH TEACHER is most likely to be an appositive phrase.

1. The book ON THE TABLE belongs to me - adjective phrase, since it is a group of words that describe the noun book.

2. Did you drive TO THE GROCERY STORE today? - adverb phrase, since it is functioning as an adverb, modifying the verb drive.

3. Ms. Reyes, MY ENGLISH TEACHER, is fluent in Spanish and French - appositive phrase, since it is a noun phrase that identifies the previous noun, Ms. Reyes, and describes it in another way.

would the lyrics “Go and shake it up! What cha gotta lose?” from the song big time rush, be considered a reference to the song s
ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

It depends

Explanation:

It depends on whether the writer enjoyed that song at the time when he/she wrote the lyrics I guess. There needs to be more proof to be sure that it is one, because it is a pretty common saying. I'd say yes or no to be on the safe side no.

"When I pulled the trigger I did not hear the bang or feel the kick—one never does when a shot goes home—but I heard the devilis
Tomtit [17]

Explanation:

George Orwell was using concept of a sudden motion by describing the instant of pulling the trigger ''When I pulled the trigger I did not hear the bang..'' and because he is describing that he did not hear ''the bang'' when he did that, it explains that it was easy thing for him to pull the trigger or hurt someone.

He is using also a sense of imagery when he is describing his deed.
