Inventions of the electric light, steam engine and railroads helped in the growth of U.S's Industrial boom in the 1900s during the Industrial Revolution bringing a rise for more labor. The invention of the railroad system, for example, made it possible to transport goods over long distances or a short period resulting in the creation of more jobs in various industries (Mantoux, 2013).
