Answer:

$1,262.48

Explanation:

The computation of the first payment is shown below:

= Annual payments × (1 + rate) ^ remaining years

= $1,000 × (1 + 0.06) ^ 4 years

= $1,000 × 1.06 ^ 4 years

= $1,262.48

The remaining years would be

= 5 years - 1 years

= 4 years

Since from 1 year to 5 years, the number of years would be 4 and the same is considered in the computation part

What’s cash discount
swat32

Cash discount is a reduction in total price of goods and services for prompt payment.

Explanation:

It is given to enhance prompt payment and to discourage trade credit.

Let's assume a Company offers some certain percentage of discount for prompt payment. A goods cost #100,000 for instance. And then for payment within 10 days, 20% discount will be given, payment between day 11 to 15 days of purchasing the goods 15% discount and payment within 16 to 20 days attracts 10%. It means any customer who pays within the first 10 days of purchasing the goods get a discount of #20,000 (i.e 20% of #100,000), hence pays #80,000 for the good. A payment within day 11 to 15 of purchase gets 15% discount, so is allowed only #15,000 (i.e 15% of #100,000), so pays #85,000 while payment made within day 16 to 20 of purchase attracts only #10,000 discount (i.e 10% of #100,000), so he pays only #90,000. No discount will be given to payment made above 20 days of purchase and the full #100,000 will be paid.

Cash discount is also called Early payment discount

AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

post purchase behavior stage

Explanation:

The post purchase behavior stage is the last stage in the buying decision process. At this stage the company (or an individual) will evaluate whether they are satisfied with the product or service they purchased. Did the product or satisfied all their needs? Was it better than expected, or worse? Was it delivered on time, the technical support was good? etc.

If the evaluations are positive during this stage, then the company (or individual) are likely to repeat the purchase, if not, then they will probably choose another supplier.

B. Balance sheet million $35.4 million

C. Operating cash flow million $1 million

Investing cash flow million=$28 million

Explanation:

a. Calculation for Income statement million

Using this formula

Income statement=Investment revenue -Patent amortization adjustment

Let plug in the formula

Income statement= ($54 million × 1/6)-([$36 million] × 1/6]÷10 years)

Income statement=$ 9.0-$0.6

Income statement=$8.4 million

Therefore Income statement million will be $8.4 million

b. Preparation of the Balance sheet million

Cost $28 million

Add Investment revenue $9.0 million

($54 million × 1/6)

Less Dividend ($1 million)

($6 million × 1/6)

Less Patent amortization adjustment ($0.6 million)

([$36 million] × 1/6]÷10 years)

Balance sheet million $35.4 million

($28 million+$9.0 million-$1 million-$0.6 million)

Therefore Balance sheet million will be $35.4 million

c. Preparation of the Statement of cash flows

Operating cash flow million=($6 million × 1/6)

Operating cash flow million= $1 million

Investing cash flow million=$28 million

Therefore Operating cash flow million will be $1 million while the Investing cash flow million will be $28 million.
