Which sentence in this excerpt from Henry David Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience" implicitly argues that people need to think indep
prisoha [69]
The answer is B) "<span>seen from a higher still, and the highest, who shall say what they are, or that they are worth looking at or thinking of at all?"
</span>

I am 100% sure because the THESAURUS of implicitly, not definition (because this is english) means completely, absolutely, totally, etc.

Also, the question states that 'implicitly argues that people need to think independently and QUESTION authority?" So, B is the only option that demonstrates that people need think independently. Plus, its the only option that has a QUESTION MARK!

Solving systems by substitution <br> y=x+2 y=2x-5
Bas_tet [7]
So first I recommend you line it up like this:
y=x+2
y=2x-5
So, you can plug in y (probably the one that equals x+2) and the equation turns into:
x+2=2x-5
You subtract x from both sides and get:
2=x-5
then, you add 5 to both sides:
x=7
And that is what x equals.
