Automatic - unthinking consistency occurs when we made a conclusion based on our pre-conceived bias rather than based on objective observation.

For example . Let's say that  a person make this conclusion:

-  He failed to get the jobs because God does not wants him to.

In the example above, we can clearly tell that such conclusion ignore a lot of complicated observations. It is a type of conclusion that many people made automatically because they choose to a comfortable way of thinking rather than a correct way of thinking.

That person does not consider whether other people made more effort to obtain the jobs, how well he performed in the interview, the type of position he aimed for, etc. He just resorted to deity rather than examining all important evidences that can contribute to the situation.
