Answer:

B

Explanation:

Like virtually all rulers throughout history, African rulers invoked both religious claims and their role as lawgivers or law enforcers to bolster their political legitimacy. For example, the ambassadors’ description of King Zara Yacob indicates that he sought to project and advertise his power in these terms as well.

maks197457 [2]

song dynasty in china had two parts: first part was the "north song" dynasty. it ruled most of china n time was good. it followed long time of civil wars n ppl were tired of wars. so the emperor consolidated his power n ruled over a large n stable empire.

but it grew weak n was attacked by enemies from north. it lost most of its northern territories n ruled only southern china. it was called the "south song" dynasty. due to limited resources, time was tough. it had to maintain a large army to protect against the north which required heavy taxation of ppl.

Why might the redistribution of territory that resulted from the World War I peace treaties cause dissatisfaction among some gro
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

the redistribution of land affected economy and society

Do you believe that the city-state of Athens should be considered a democracy. explain.
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

Athenian democracy developed around the 6th century BC in the Greek city-state (known as a polis) of Athens, comprising the city of Athens and the surrounding territory of Attica. Athenian democracy is often described as the first known democracy in the world. Other Greek cities set up democracies, most following the Athenian model, but none are as well documented as Athens' democracy.

Nineteenth-century painting by Philipp Foltz depicting the Athenian politician Pericles delivering his famous funeral oration in front of the Assembly.

The relief representation depicts the personified Demos being crowned by Democracy. About 336 BC. Ancient Agora Museum.

Athens practiced a political system of legislation and executive bills. Participation was far from open to all residents, but was instead limited to adult, male citizens (i.e., not a foreign resident, regardless of how many generations of the family had lived in the city, nor a slave, nor a woman), who "were probably no more than 30 percent of the total adult population".[1]
