French fur traders traded two things with American Indians in those times. One were guns and the other horses. When the American Indians provided them with fur, they were given either horses or guns in exchange, both of which the Indians desperately needed in their fight with the US settlers.

One item can be the weapons. Many Europeans gave the natives a bunch of weapons because they had plenty. They even gave them faulty weapons or broken ones because the natives didn't know any better.

What is the y intercept if y= mx+b with a slope of -4 passing through the point (1,-9)
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

A TIP

Since the slope is given to you, you already know part of the equation. slope is equal to mx. So y=-4x. the B in y=mx+b is y-intercept. The y intercept is where the line comes in contact with the y axis. On a coordinate plane the y intercept would be Y [ex; (x,y)]. It gives you (3,8) so the y intercept would be +8 since the point is positive and not negative.

Astronomers like Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo, and Johannes Kepler played an influential role in interpreting and explaining the universe.

The Church believes threaten by discoveries.
