Oh come on haha, .25 , 3/8 , 0.53 , 65% , 87.5% , 4/4 in that order

Right to left
4/4 = 1
87.5% =.87
65%= between .6 (60%) and .7 (70)
.53 = 53% which is closer to .5 then .6
3/8= .375 which is 37.5 there for between .3 (30%) and .4 (40%) closer to .4
.25 is 25% = between .2 (20%) and .3 (30%)

hope that helps ad you able to understand that anything with just one number after the decimal is simply 10% 20% 30% and so on <span />

Emily has 140 books. If Frank were to triple the number of books that he now owns, he would still have fewer than Emily has.
aniked [119]
B * 3 < 140
B being the number of books Frank owns. Because tripling the amount of books he owns is still less than the amount of book Emily owns, b*3 has to be less than 140

A line from the top of a cliff to the ground passes just over the top of a pole 6.0 ft. high and meets the ground at a point 7.0
Anit [1.1K]
This will solved using the concept of proportionality:
(height of the cliff)/(height of the pole)=(base of the cliff)/(length from base of pole to the rope)
thus, let the height of the cliff be x, plugging the values in the formula we obtain:
x/6=86/7
hence solving for x we get
x=(86×6)/7
x=73.71 ft

Simplify (4ab^2)^3<br><br> Any help is appreciated
Pie

Answer:

64a^{3} b^{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Distribute the exponent outside of the parentheses to the terms inside the parentheses. In this case, multiply the 3 outside the parentheses with the exponent of each of the terms inside:

(4ab^{2} )^3

4^{3} · a^{3} · b^{6}

2) The variables are fine - you can't simplify them further. All you need to do now is multiply the 4^{3} out. Remember that it's kind of like asking, "what is 4 × 4 ×4?"

4 · 4 · 4 · a^{3} · b^{6}

16 · 4 · a^{3} · b^{6}

64a^{3} b^{6}

Therefore, 64a^{3} b^{6} is the answer.

Rewrite the equation in vertex form. Name the vertex and y-intercept. y=3/5x^2+30x+382
Serga [27]
<span>(y-7) = 3/5 (x+25)^2 so the y intercept is -7 and the vertex is 35
