Answer:

1. Establishment of the first colony at Jamestown

2. Signing of the Declaration of Independence

3. John Adams presidency

4. Andrew Jackson’s presidency

5. The Reconstruction period

Explanation:

  • Jamestown or Jamestown Fort, was the first permanent English settlement in the present territory of the United States. It was founded in 1607 on the banks of the James River on a peninsula (now Jamestown Island), in the current county of James City, Virginia.
  • The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America is a document drafted by the Second Continental Congress - in the State House of Pennsylvania (now Independence Hall) in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776 - which proclaimed that the Thirteen North American Colonies - then at war with the Kingdom of Great Britain - they had defined themselves as thirteen new sovereign and independent states and no longer recognized British rule, instead forming a new nation: the United States.
  • John Adams (October 30, 1735 - July 4, 1826) was an American statesman and founding father who served as first vice president (1789-1797) and second president of the United States (1797-1801). He was a lawyer, diplomat, political theorist and leader of the movement for the independence of the United States. He was also a chronicler and dedicated correspondent, particularly with his wife and closest adviser, Abigail.
  • Andrew Jackson (Waxhaw, North Carolina, March 15, 1767-Nashville, Tennessee, June 8, 1845) was an American statesman, seventh president of the United States (1829-1837).
  • The reconstruction was a period of American history that lasted from 1865 to 1877. The term has two applications: the first applies to the entire history of the entire country from 1865 to 1877 after the Civil War; the second, to the attempted transformation of the 11 ex-Confederate states from 1863 to 1877, as ordered by Congress.
