United States used to follow the policy of ‘Isolationist’ before the start of World War 2 till 1939.

Further Explanation:-

When President Roosevelt joined the office as the president in 1933, his main concern was to bring the American economy back on track which was going through the great depression. Despite this, President Roosevelt always kept his eye on foreign affairs. He was a believer in strong and good international relations and always thought that having good relations with neighboring countries will solve almost half of American domestic issues. He believed that great depression could come to end if he solidified ties with foreign traders and foreign markets instead of weakening them.

Period of 1930 was the period of deep Isolationism for the United States as the United States didn't attend many international conferences and they focused mostly on tariff agreements along with smaller countries of Latin America. The American isolationists advocated of noninvolvement in European and Asian conflicts. Various measures were taken by the United States government to avoid political and military conflicts internationally as it continued to expand economically to protect its interests in Latin America.

It was isolationist. The Americans were in the midst of rebuilding their economy that was now improving after the Great Depression and the effects of World War II. Many did not want to go to another war but after witnessing the atrocities committed by the Axis powers in Europe and Asia, they realize that it would only be a matter of time before they would be involved in the war. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor the U.S. officially joined the war on the side of the allies.

What is trench warfare, and why was so much of World War I dominated by this method of fighting? Consider such elements as techn
erica [24]

Answer:

A trench war or position war is a war in which both parties have buried themselves opposite each other in trenches and other fortified positions, with the aim of stopping the advance of the enemy, which has resulted in a stalemate in which neither party succeeds through the enemy lines to break. In fact, a trench war is a situation where both sides besiege each other. Normally in the case of a siege there is an attacking party besieging the defending party, but in a trench war both parties are besiegers and besieged at the same time.

The best known trench war is the First World War (1914-1918), but wars such as the Civil War (1861-1865) and the Russian-Japanese War (1904-05) also exhibited characteristics of trench wars.

Nowadays trench wars only occur in the Third World, where the warring parties have modern firearms but hardly any vehicles such as tanks and planes. In the conflicts between Ethiopia and Eritrea at the end of the 20th century, trench wars were also waged.
