It is a lot easier to turn these fractions into decimals in order to have an understanding of where they go, after that you can place them on the number line as the fraction that they are.

2/3 as a decimal is 0.6666 but rounded it is 0.67

whereas 1/5 is 0.20 as a decimal.

Looking at the line graph you should know that both of these decimals are SMALLER than 1 so they will be on the left of it.

0.20 (1/5) should be just barely past 0 on the line

0.67 (2/3) Should be a little over halfway between 0 and 1. Imagine were 0.50 would go, because that is half, and move 0.60 slightly to the right of that. A tiny bit closer to 1.

Hope this helps!

What is 5C3?
A. 35
B. 10
C. 14
D. 28
galben [10]

Answer: B. 10

-5C3 or 5 choose 3 refers to how many combinations are possible from 5 items, taken 3 at a time. To calculate combinations, we will use the formula nCr = n! / r! ... * (n - r)!, where n represents the total number of items, and r represents the number of items being chosen at a time.

-10 is the total number of all possible combinations for choosing 3 elements at a time from 5 distinct elements without considering the order of elements in statistics & probability surveys or experiments. The number of combinations for sample space 5 CHOOSE 3 can also be written as 5C3 in the format of nCr or nCk.

Step-by-step explanation: Hope this help :D
