Butoxors [25]
Salutations!

12 \frac{2}{3}

- 9 \frac{3}{4}

= \frac{38}{3}

Then,

- 9 \frac{3}{4}

- \frac{39}{4}

Next, our final answer:

= \frac{35}{12}

= 2 \frac{11}{12}

Our decimal would be 2.916667

Hopefully This Helps!!!

Solve the equation (5×+7)1/5=(8-6×)1/5
AURORKA [14]
<span><span>(<span><span>5x</span>+7</span>)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span>)</span></span>=<span><span>(<span>8−<span>6x</span></span>)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span><span>)
</span></span></span>Simplify both sides. In order to do this you need to distribute 1/5 in each expression.
<span><span><span>(<span>5x</span>)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span>)</span></span>+<span><span>(7)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span>)</span></span></span>=<span><span><span>(8)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span>)</span></span>+<span><span>(<span>−<span>6x</span></span>)</span><span>(<span>1/5</span><span>)
</span></span></span></span><span>x+<span>7/5</span></span>=<span><span>8/5</span>+<span><span><span>−6/</span>5</span><span>x
</span></span></span><span>x+<span>7/5</span></span>=<span><span><span><span>−6/</span>5</span>x</span>+<span>8/<span>5
Now you need to add (-6/5)x to both sides. This leaves you with
</span></span></span><span><span><span>(5/11)</span>x</span>+<span>7/5</span></span>=<span>8/<span>5
Now subtract 7/5 from both sides.
</span></span><span><span>(5/11)</span>x</span>=<span>1/<span>5
Divide both sides by 5/11
x=1/11</span></span>

Can someone help me solve this really quick please?
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

You have read at least 4 books.

Step-by-step explanation:

to solve this equation, first spilt the equation:

     17x ≥ 68:

17x = 68 and 17 x > 68

since we want to find the <em>least</em> amount of books, we solve the fist equation.

17x= 68

x = 68 / 17

x = 4

You have read at least 4 books.

The city council is planning a long, narrow park with a playground at one end and a fountain at the other. They want the playgro
ipn [44]

Answer:

The following are some inequalities that represent the possible position of the playground.

2x ≥ -2 and x < -3

x + 3 ≤ 1 and –x > -3

x + 4 ≤ 2 and x + 4 > 7

2x – 1 ≥ -5 and 3x < 9

The city council planning for playground, that is more than 5 blocks from fountain and at least 2 blocks from center of park.

A solid dot on negative two points less than -2 and a circle dot on positive three points in the direction indicating greater than 3. So the right inequality is x + 3 ≤ 1 and –x > -3. That represents the possible position of ground.

Hence, the inequality x + 3 ≤ 1 and –x > -3 is the playground's possible position.
