The answer is. D. (-6,7)
To solve the exercise you should be aware that you should primarily locate the location of park on the abscissa-x_axis ( West - East. ) followed by locating the latter on the ordinate- Y_axis (South - North). So first u start by drawing a line perpendicular ( makes a 90 degrees ) to the X_axis to find that it cuts it in a point of coordinates (-6,0) and then do the same on the Y_axis to find that it cuts it in a point of coordinates (0,7). Thus you conclude that the park is found on (-6,7) count 6 boxes to the left-west and then 7 upwards- north.

D because u start at the origin or the very middle where the two lines meet and u count over 6 to the left and up 7. making the coordinates (-6,7)

Answer:

240 square feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello, I can help you with this

Step one

find the real scale

According to the data

scale is 1 in : 2 ft

also remember  1ft=12 inches

so

scale is 1in: 2(12 inches)

scale is 1 in :24 in

the purpose of use inches a unit in both sides is to eliminate the, the scale must be adimensional

so escales is

1:24  , this means, that a measure on the blueprint must be multiplied by 24 to know its real value

Step 2

with the escale find the real dimensions, you can use a rule of three

Abraham's bedroom is 6 inches wide

blueprint ⇔ bedroom

1 in ⇔ 24 in

6 in ⇔x

x=(6*24)/1

x=144 inches=12 ft

 Abraham's bedroom is  10 inches long

1 in ⇔ 24 in

10 in ⇔y

y=(10*24)/1

x=240 inches=20 ft

Step  3

find the area

the area is wide *long

area=x*y

area=12ft*20ft

area=240 square feet.

a man spends 1/3 of his wages on food, 1/5 on rent. if he saved the rest what fraction of his wage did he save?
Lynna [10]
Total wages = 1
Food = 1/3
Rent = 1/5
Savings = total wages - food - rent
= 1 - 1/3 - 1/5
= 15/15 - 5/15 - 3/15
= 7/15

What is the product?
victus00 [196]

Answer:

\begin{bmatrix}-2\\0 \end{bmatrix}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the product, 2\times \begin{bmatrix}-1\\0 \end{bmatrix}.

It is known that,

'When we multiply a scalar with a matrix, the scalar is multiplied by each element of the matrix'.

So, we get,

2\times \begin{bmatrix}-1\\0 \end{bmatrix}.

⇒ \begin{bmatrix}-1\times 2\\0\times 2 \end{bmatrix}

⇒ \begin{bmatrix}-2\\0 \end{bmatrix}

So, the resulting product is \begin{bmatrix}-2\\0 \end{bmatrix}.
