In the brain? Or on the Earth? The earth's hemispheres are artificial constructions to make it easier for us to draw maps, they don't really exist and are mostly arbitrary (and they're connected by other land). In the brain, the corpus callosum connects the brain hemispheres (if severed, it causes severe impairment to language skills and creativity).
