Answer:

Cold front is caused because a mass of cold air is the one that travels over a mass of hot air and occluded font is a hot front moving slowly, followed by a cold front with faster movement.

Explanation:

When we talk about a front coming and that it will bring bad weather, we are referring to a strip in which two air masses of different temperatures are separated. These fronts, according to the temperature of each mass of air and which is the one that travels at the highest speed we can classify them in front cold, hot, occluded and stationary.

The operation of these fronts is mainly determined by the atmospheric pressure variable. The set of atmospheric pressure values that we find in an area according to the amount of air masses and their temperature is called atmospheric pressure systems. These pressure systems are guided by air currents, since the air tends to move towards the area where there is more pressure to where there is less.

Fronts can be affected by the morphology of the terrain. Air displacement is hindered by the highest mountains and large volumes of water. In these cases, the dynamics and evolution of the fronts changes completely.

Cold front:

This cold front is caused by a strip in which we find an atmospheric instability. It is caused because a mass of cold air is the one that travels over a mass of hot air. When the advancing cold air meets the hot air, a kind of wedge forms where it penetrates below the warmer air. The cold air has a higher density because it has a lower temperature, so, although it weighs more, it tends to descend and occupy the hollow closest to the earth's surface.

On the other hand, the mass of hot air, being less dense, is easily replaced on the surface and rises in height. The cold front usually lasts between 5 and 7 days maximum.

Occluded front:

For this type of front to occur, there must be a hot front moving slowly, followed by a cold front with a faster movement. When this happens, the cold air is coining hot and pushing it up because it travels faster.

It is then that the two fronts move moving one behind the other. The line that forms and separates both airs is what is called the occluded front. In general, this type of fronts is associated with the types of clouds as strata and are accompanied by light rainfall. They usually form in areas of low pressure and when these areas are weakening.

On a weather map, you can see the signaling of an occluded front because they are marked by a dotted line of violet color. This means that the signals of the cold front and those of the hot front are those that indicate the direction of the front movement.

Cold Front is the boundary of an advancing mass of cold air, in particular the trailing edge of the warm sector of a low-pressure system. Occluded Front Forms when a warm air mass gets caught between two cold air masses. Hope this helps :)
