The correct answer is, the Taping Rebellion occurred from 1850 to 1864. It was a bloody rebellion that devastated seventeen China’s provinces and impacted the <em>Qing Dynasty</em> because it weakened China from within, and almost 20 million people were killed.  

China leader Hong Xiuquan initiated the Rebellion. History says that he had a dream where he was told he was the son of God and the chosen one. Along with his friend Feng Yunsan, created a liberation movement called “God Worshippers Society”.
