First add the two areas of the properties together.
77120 + 33500 = 412120 square feet
Divide this number by 43560 to get the number of acres.
412120/43560 = 9.46

Answer: 9.46 acres

Okay so there are two pieces of property Mrs. Chen owns, so in order to find the total number of feet, add 77,120 and 33,500.
77,120 + 33,500= 110,620
1 acre= 43,560
To find the total number of acres now, you divide 110,620 ÷ 43,560
and that equals about 2.54.  (Since you asked for the nearest hundredth of an acre)
If I'm wrong, please forgive me.
I notice that you are in high school and I am in middle school, so if I am wrong, I am so sorry. But if I'm correct, I hope this helped!

Answer:

a) slope intercept form: y = -5/14 x + 7/2

b) point slope form: y - 1 = 3/2(x - 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

a) Line A: (4,1) and (0, 7/2)

Slope = (1 - 7/2)/(4 - 0)

Slope = - 5/2 * 1/4

Slope = - 5/14

Equation in slope intercept form:

y = -5/14 x + 7/2

b)

(4,1) and (0, -5)

Slope = (1 + 5)/(4 - 0) = 6/4 = 3/2

Equation in point slope form:

y - 1 = 3/2(x - 4)

What is the vertex of (x) = –16x² + 64x + 80.
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

<h3>            (2, 124)</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = a(x - h)² + k      - the  vertex form of the equation of the parabola with vertex (h, k)

f(x) = -16x^2+ 64x + 80\\\\f(x) = -16(x^2- 4x) + 80\\\\f(x) = -16(\underline {x^2-2\cdot2x\cdot2+2^2}-2^2) + 80\\\\f(x) = -16\big[(x-2)^2-4\big] + 80\\\\f(x) = -16(x-2)^2+64 + 80\\\\\bold{f(x)=-16(x-2)^2+124\quad\implies\quad h=2\,,\quad k=124}

<u>The vertex is </u><u>(2, 124)</u>
