Because they can't do as much stuff and they need help because without the help they can't function as well.

A lot of people have disabilities and can not function as well as most people, and they can not do most things on their own. Or either, they are a danger to other people, themselves, and society. The people who are psychotic are starting to overcrowd jails leaving less space for people who actually need to be in jail, i'm not saying that the crazy people don't need to be in jail they just need to be in a psychiatric hospital instead of a jail.

they should have more privacy rights bc they are humans too. no one likes to feel crowded and uncomfortable all the time. plus the less privacy they have the more depressed they become.
