<u>Answer: </u>

Vinh has two wooden board. Difference of length of two boards is \frac{47}{8} feet that is 40\frac{7}{8} feet.

<u>Solution: </u>

Given that

Vinh has two wooden boards

Length of one board = 11\frac{3}{8} = \frac{91}{8}

Length of second board = 5\frac{1}{2} = \frac{11}{2}

Difference of length of two boards = length of first board - length of second board

Difference of length of two boards = \frac{91}{8} - \frac{11}{2}

On cross-multiplication we get,

= \frac{182 - 88}{16}

= \frac{94}{16} = \frac{47}{8}

hence difference of length two boards is \frac{47}{8} feet that is 40\frac{7}{8} feet.

What is the equation of the line in slope intercept form?
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

y=3/5x+3

Step-by-step explanation:

The y-intercept which is the (+3) is taken from where the line crosses the y-axis.

The slop is found from rise over run, in this case, -5 to 0 is positive 5 this would go in the denominator, because we go from solid ground 0 to 3 without crossing another solid point, the numerator is 3.

Perform the modular arithmetic. (7 · 15) (mod 4)
Reika [66]

We could do it by first writing

7\cdot15=(4+3)\cdot(4+11)=4^2+14\cdot4+33

so that

7\cdot15\equiv4^2+14\cdot4+33\equiv33\pmod4

and since 33=32+1=8\cdot4+1, we have

7\cdot15\equiv33\equiv1\pmod4

# # #

Alternatively, we can just compute the product and take it mod 4:

7\cdot15=105=104+1=26\cdot4+1

and so we get the same result of 1.

Costa is planning a lunch banquet. The equation C=450+28g models the relation between the cost in dollars, C, of the banquet and
algol13

Answer:

When the number of guests is 0, the cost would be $450.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given an equation C=450+28g, which models the relation between the cost in dollars, C, of the banquet and the number of guests, g.

We can see that our given equation in slope-intercept form of equation y=mx+b, where, m represents slope of line and b represents y-intercept or initial value.

We can see that slope for our given equation is 28 and the C-intercept is 450.

The C-intercept tells us that when there are 0 guests in the banquet, the cost would be $450.
