Answer: Not exactly.

Explanation: Around the world in different places the sun is around for longer than others. Take Canada and the Philippines for example. When Summer comes around, daylight in Canada can last until like 10 on a good day. In the Philippines though, pretty much all year round it starts to get dark by around 5:30.
