All you need to do is add up all the gumballs, which is 201, then divide the number of red gumballs by the total amount.

201/52 = %26

Veseljchak [2.6K]
The volume of rectangular prism is the product of its length, width and height.
So the volume V of prism with length 1 \frac{1}{4} yards, width 2 \frac{1}{2} yards and height of 4 yards will be:

V=1 \frac{1}{4} * 2 \frac{1}{2} *4 \\  \\
V=  \frac{5}{4}* \frac{5}{2}*4 \\  \\
V= \frac{25}{2} \\  \\
V=12 \frac{1}{2}

Thus the volume of prism as a mixed number in simplest form will be 12 \frac{1}{2} cubic yards

Jessica had m beads. She used 18 of them to make a necklace for her mom. Then she used the rest to make k bracelets for her frie
Y_Kistochka [10]
The expression to represent this would be (m-18)/k.

We first subtract the 18 beads she used in her mother's bracelet from her beginning number, m.  We then divide our result by k, the number of bracelets she made for her friends.

Sixty percent of the students at a certain school wear neither a ring nor a necklace. Twenty percent wear a ring and 30 percent
Reptile [31]

Answer:

0.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

60 % wear neither ring nor a necklace

20 % wear a ring

30 % wear necklace

This question can be Solved by using Venn diagram

If one person is choosen randomly  among the given student the probability that this student is wearing a ring or necklace is

P\left ( wear \ ring\ or \ necklace )+P\left ( neither\ ring\ or\ necklace)=1

P\left ( wear \ ring\ or\ necklace )=1-0.6=0.4

The sum of probabilty is equal to 1 because it completes the set

Therefore the required probabilty is 0.4
