Answer: photosynthesis

Explanation: In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water reacts in the presence of sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen. In photosynthesis, oxygen is released in to the atmosphere while the glucose formed is stored in the plant as food. No carbon is introduced in to the atmosphere during respiration rather carbon dioxide is used up.

In respiration, glucose is broken down in the presence of oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water and energy. Carbon is introduced in to the atmosphere in form of carbon dioxide.

In forest fires and burning of fossil fuels, wood and fuels burn in sufficient supply of oxygen liberates carbon dioxide (CO2) but when it burns in insufficient supply of oxygen, it liberates carbon monoxide (CO). In both cases carbon is introduced in to the atmosphere in form of carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide.

Complete the following vocabulary exercise related to the process of translation of mRNA to protein by the ribosome.
Deffense [45]

When mRNA exits the nucleus, it travels to a ribosome, which is made up of proteins and rRNA. The ribosome reads the mRNA's codon sequence. The correct sequence of amino acids is delivered to the ribosome by tRNA molecules. A ribosome is responsible for translating the codons in mRNA into a chain of amino acids.

Initiation, elongation, and termination are the three main stages of translation. The small subunit and the big subunit are two distinct subunits that make up the ribosome. The tiny subunit binds to the mRNA's 5' end during initiation.

Then it shifts in a 5' x 3' direction. The TR when RNA that has an amino acid linked to it binds to the mRNA. They participate in translation because they are molecules that are involved in protein synthesis, which is translation. And those molecules that link the minor assets Holden's RNA from M. with. The mRNA is now bound to the tRNA by antipodean.

Do you think the wings of a Galapagos cormorant are vestigial structures?
Inga [223]

Answer:

The Galapagos cormorant has vestigial wings that don't help it to fly or swim, though the birds still dry them off in the sun after they get wet, just as if they would if they still could use them to fly. This species diverged into a flightless bird about 2 million years ago.

The outermost membrane of a euglenid chloroplast is thought to have been derived from what part of an original host cell that en
Gemiola [76]

The plasma membrane of the enveloped alga cell serves as the source of the apicoplast's second outermost membrane.

Where did all chloroplasts come from?

Chloroplasts were first established in eukaryotes through an endosymbiotic relationship with a cyanobacterium; they later spread through the evolution of eukaryotic hosts and the subsequent engulfment of eukaryotic algae by formerly nonphotosynthetic eukaryotes.

How did eukaryotic cells develop mitochondria and chloroplasts?

Chloroplasts and mitochondria most likely developed from engulfed bacteria that once existed as autonomous organisms. An aerobic bacterium was eventually swallowed by a eukaryotic cell, which later established an endosymbiotic bond with the host eukaryote and gradually transformed into a mitochondrion.
