So basically, you would have to do 89/100, and 89/100 is 89%

That would be 89% but u multiply the decimal value by 100 or u can just move the decimal 2 place to the right!

A spinner is divided into five sections numbered 1 through 5. Juana records the number the spinner lands on for each of 50 spins
Jet001 [13]

The distribution of the probability of the given data is a Positive Skewed Probability distribution.

Given to us

A spinner is divided into five sections numbered 1 through 5. Juana records the number the spinner lands on for each of the 50 spins. She computes and graphs the relative frequencies for each number

<h3>What is a Probability distribution?</h3>

It is a type of distribution in which the distribution has a constant probability, therefore, the probability of each event occurring is equal.

<h3>What is symmetric distribution?</h3>

Symmetric distribution is the type of distribution where the left side of the distribution and the right side of the distribution are mirror images to each other, therefore, they are symmetrical.

<h3>What is Negatively Skewed Probability distribution?</h3>

Negatively Skewed Probability distribution is a type of distribution of the probability where the right side(tail) of the distribution is more concentrated than the right side.

<h3>What is Positive Skewed Probability distribution?</h3>

Positive Skewed Probability distribution is a type of distribution of the probability where the left side of the distribution is more concentrated than the right side.

<h3>Which of the following describes the probability distribution of the given data?</h3>

Since in the given graph probability of every number occurring from 2 to 5 is equal to 0.12(12%), while the probability of number 1 occurring is 0.5(50%).

Thus, the distribution of the probability is towards the right end of the graph.

Hence, the distribution of the probability of the given data is a Positive Skewed Probability distribution.

TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I believe the answer would be 1/4 of the sub. Because they asked about the whole sub. And it says he ate 1/4 of the amount of that half of the sub for snack. So out of the whole sandwich it would be 1/4!

Explain why 4 x 3/5 = 12 x 1/5. Draw a picture
gtnhenbr [62]

(4)*(3/5)=(12)*(1/5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

Let us consider the given expression (4)*(3/5)=(12)*(1/5)

On Right Hand Side of equation,

4*(3/5)

Using BODMAS rule, we could get 2.4 as value.

Step 2:

Now let us consider the Left Hand Side of equation and solve it

12* (1/5) which will be equal to 2.4.

Related rates(calculus)
telo118 [61]

Answer:

The volume increases at a rate of 125663.71 mm^ 3 / s

Step-by-step explanation:

The rate of change of the radius with respect to time is 4 mm / s.

So:

\frac{dr}{dt} = 4mm / s

Now we must find a relationship between the volume of a sphere and its radius.

The equation of the volume of a sphere is:

V = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^ 3

So:

\frac{dV}{dt} = \frac{4}{3}\pi * 3r ^ 2 * \frac{dr}{dt}\\\frac{dV}{dt} = 4\pi r ^ 2 * 4\\\frac{dV}{dt} = 16\pi r ^ 2

The diameter of the sphere is 100 mm. Therefore its radius is 100/2 = 50 mm.

So:

\frac{dV}{dt} = 16\pi (50) ^ 2\\\frac{dV}{dt} = 40000\pi mm^3 / s

The volume increases at a rate of :

40000 π mm ^ 3 / s = 125663.71 mm^3/s
