However few patients become symptomatic until their heart rate drops to less than 50 beats per minute. Intervention for sinuses bradycardia should be based on assessment of the clients condition. The patient may remain asymptomatic, the nurse may choose to increase the IV flow rate, administer atropine, or notify the Rapid Response Team depending on the severity of the symptoms.
