Teenagers will either participate in social, or individual activities for fun after school. Some examples could be going out with friends, going to the mall, going out to eat, but generally, teens mostly do individual, antisocial activities like go on their phone, play games, or watch t.v. This shows us that society today, although still is based around people interactions, is much less face-to-face than it previously was. People in today’s society are more reserved because they can turn to technology instead of social interaction, but still get the same benefit from it.
The authors purpose of this story is to show that if love really exists. In this story Daisy is said to be in love with Gatsby. But is she really in love with him or in love with his wealth?
