Answer:

a defense attorney instead

Explanation:

From a financial standpoint, a defense attorney would more likely make more money than a juvenile prosecutor because a defense attorney could charge up more for certain cases than been a juvenile prosecutor who wants to ensure someone is convicted.

Also, in terms of purpose, I do feel a defense lawyer could make more impact socially by defending his or her clients.

You decide to form a portfolio of the following amounts invested in the following stocks. What is the expected return of the por
cluponka [151]

Answer: Expected return of the portfolio = 14,70%

Explanation: First we must add the amounts to calculate the total capital:

1000 + 7000 + 6000 + 6000 = $20000

The performance of a portfolio is given by the sum of each individual expected return weighted by its weight in capital.

Therefore we must calculate the weight (w) of each type of action:

W (apple) = 1000 / 20000 = 0,05

W (microsoft) = 7000 / 20000 = 0,35

W (ford) = 6000 / 20000 = 0,30

W (time warner) = 6000 / 20000 = 0,30

Expected return of the portfolio : (0,1050 . 0,05) + (0,1690 . 0,35) + (0,1575 . 0,30) + (0,1180 . 0,30) = 0,14705 = 14,70%

Assume the total cost of a college education will be $325,000 when your child enters college in 16 years. you presently have $40
Studentka2010 [4]
Future value FV = $325,000
Investment I = $40,000
Number of years n = 16
Annual rate = r
We have the equation FV = I (1 + r) ^n => 325000 = 40000(1 + r)^16
(1 + r)^16 = 325 / 40 => 1 + r = (325 / 40) ^ (1/16) => 1 + r = 1.1398
Rate of Interest r = 1.1398 - 1 = 0.1398 that is 13.98%
Annual rate of Interest r = 13.98%
