Sun Yat Sen has three main principles, Nationalism, Democracy and Social Welfare or "Government for the People". 

He led the uprising against the Qing Dynasty where he applied his principles on nationalism. He had this ideology that the people should come together to help each other grow and help the country grow. This paved way for his plans on founding the Republic of China.
