The second longest side of ABCD is 32, and the second shortest side of that quadrilateral is 24. Then we can expect the second longest side of EFGH to be 32/24 times the length of its second shortest side:
(32/24)×(18 feet) = (4/3)×18 feet = 24 feet
The length of the 2nd longest side of EFGH is 24 feet.
