It should deal with your personal history, family background, influences on intellectual development, the educational and cultural opportunities (or lack of them) to which you have been exposed, and the ways in which these experiences have affected you. Include your special interests and abilities, career plans, and life goals, etc. It should not be a recording of facts already listed on the application or an elaboration of your statement of proposed study. - Personal statements are short; identify a few points (3-4) that you want to develop; let the other aspects of your application present other important information. Consider one or two anecdotes that can help you focus and give a human face to your discussion. -Use this discussion to present a compelling snapshot, of who you are and what contributions you want to make, and to indicate what your priorities are and the kinds of intelligence and passion you bring to your work. -In this regard, you may also want to weave in some mention of any skills or resources that may particularly recommend you. (But again, beware of merely telling when you might be better able to use a moment from your experience to show a number of the qualities you want to convey.) </span>
Business people in intense competition with each other to produce a better, less expensive product or service are and always has been good for the economy of any country. When businesses are allowed to become too big to fail, to hire trained gunslingers in the form of expensive lobbyists and contribute heavily to the campaigns of candidates who provide those businesses favors, privileges, subsidies, tax cuts, etc., they cease to be good for the economy of our country. Business owners hate unions because it gets in the way of them making money. The ego maniacal business owner values profit above treating employees with dignity or as a human being at all. Forcing an employee to skip lunch is the difference between earning $100 to $0.00. Unions are hated because they force business owners to do the right thing. Sometimes what is right keeps them from maximizing their profits. There are labor laws, however can be ignored when greed is involved. Most employers get away with it as opposed to employers who have employees with unions.
Brought more jobs and less unemployment, reformers trying to get laws passed, organizing in labor unions that demand higher pay, shorter hours and safer working conditions. Men got the right to vote.
