Hi!

In my opinion, A. Equality would be the most sensical option to choose.

Discrimination defines as, "the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, etc." Equality has a huge role in part of discrimination. For example, a black person may think that a white person has more than him. He would think it's unfair. This would be discrimination, thinking about how unequal and unjust it is because the white person has more rights (or any object/thing) than him.

Hope this helps, have a wonderful day/night! :)

(MC)Which statement summarizes changes in Constitutional principles that took place in the 1960s?
Svetach [21]

Answer:

The rights of the accused were expanded significantly

Explanation:

Famous cases that brought about these constitutional changes are those of Miranda v Arizona (1966) and Gideon v. Wainwright (1963). In all these cases, the Supreme Court decided that:

1. the accused had the right and must be notified of his right to counsel (a lawyer) at the time of his/her arrest.

2. the accused must be notified of his/her right not to answer any questions that might produce evidence against him.
