Answer:

I think it's just because many people DO ask for an explanation.

Explanation:

Like, it could also be because just giving someone the answer feels like you're helping them cheat? Some people also just like explaining. if you don't want a long explanation just specify in your question beforehand.

hope this wasn't too long a story for you.

Some people plagiarize and copy from a website but others just give you a lot of information to help you understand. Instead of just saying "The answer is B," they give an explanation as to why the answer is B and sometimes why the other answers are incorrect.

I don't like the long answers either though, especially when it's a written response question that can be graded with a sample response.

Nestro has admired Monica for a long time and has wanted to date her but is too shy around girls to ask. He is a football player
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Nestro has committed battery.

Explanation:

Even though there is a whole story behind what Nestro did - his admiration for Monica, the fact that he didn't mean to harm her, and the fact that he apologized -, he still committed battery. Battery can be defined as the unlawful and or unwanted touching of the person of another by the aggressor. Monica did not wish or expect to be touched at all. Therefore, Nestro could be punished for touching her.
