A) By Graphing:
x = y + 4, 
When x = 0, y = -4
when y = 0, x = 4

Coordinates would be: (0, -4) & (4, 0) 

B) Just substitute the value of x from equation 1 into equation 2, 
y = -2x - 4
y = -2(y + 4) - 4
y = -2y - 8 - 4
y + 2y = -12
y = -12/3
y = -4

Now, substitute it into first equation, 
x = y + 4
x = -4 + 4
x = 0

In short, Your Answers would be: x = 0 & y = -4
