Answer:

the answer is D. It produces offspring that are genetically identical to the parent

Explanation:

asexual reproduction only needs one parent so it would not be taking diffrent things from to parents causing it to have no genetic diffrences ( I just did a assignment with that same question and I got it correct) hope that helps :)

Answer:

The question is incomplete, the correct question is;

Which statement describes asexual reproduction, but not sexual reproduction? A) New organisms are formed only after fertiliztion. B) A single cell will not develop into a full organism. C) Daughter cells contain half the genetic material of the parent cell. D) Daughter cells contain the same genetic information as parent cells.

Answer is option D. Daughter cells contain the same genetic information as parent cells.

Explanation:

The process in which organisms creates their offspring is called reproduction and the two types of reproduction are asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction.

In asexual reproduction, the offspring are produced from a single parent. They are genetically identical to each other and to the parent. Binary fission, fragmentation, and budding are the different methods of asexual reproduction. Examples of organisms which reproduce through asexual reproduction include bacteria, yeast, amoeba, hydra etc.

In sexual reproduction, the offspring are created by two parents and they are genetically unique.  The gametes are reproductive cells present in the parents, produced by meiosis. They are haploid cells containing only half the number of chromosomes. The process in which the gametes from two parents combine to form a zygote (fertilized diploid cell) is called fertilization, where the zygote has twice the number of chromosomes. The zygote develops into a fully formed organism, which has a unique combination of characteristics inherited from both parents.

Rina8888 [55]

Both primary (herbivores) and secondary (carnivores and omnivores) consumers are heterotrophs, while primary producers are autotrophs. A third type of heterotrophic consumer is a detritivore. These organisms obtain food by feeding on the remains of plants and animals as well as fecal matter.

The ______ system is assisted by the lymphatic system and the physical barriers of the skin and gastrointestinal tract.
mezya [45]

Answer:

The correct answer is- Immune system

Explanation:

There are physical, chemical and immunological barriers present in our body which helps us to protect from the foreign antigen. They all assist each other and helps in pathogen removal from our body.

The physical barrier includes skin, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, etc which do not allow the microbe to enter the body. Chemical barriers include tear, saliva, acid in the stomach which kills microbes on the body surface.

Immune cells like macrophages, B cells kills microbes when it gets in the body. Lymphatic system also contain immune cells and helps in microbe removal.

So the immune system is assisted by physical barrier, chemical barrier, and lymphatic system.

sp2606 [1]
It depends on the DNA that is compared to another species to decide if the species are related or not. Like the human and the rhesus monkey they are very related because all of the genetic codes have the same DNA except for one.
