The correct answer is the denial stage of coping.

According to Kubler-Ross's theory of the five stages of grief in dying patients, denial is the first stage dying patients go though when coping with fact that they do not have much longer to live. Denial refers to the phenomenon where individuals essentially refuse to accept their impending death. They are in denial of a diagnosis of their impending death due to shock and overwhelming emotions.

zavuch27 [327]

Answer: Role playing on attitude change.

Explanation: In Psychology, cognitive dissonance is a psychological distress that people experience when they face situations or facts that contradict their beliefs, ideas or values. The cognitive dissonance theory was created by Leon Festinger and suggests that every person in a situation like this becomes uncomfortable and willing to make changes to justify or eliminate the dissonance. There are three ways by which people can reduce this dissonance: reducing the significance of the conflicting beliefs, acquiring new beliefs, or getting rid of the conflicting behavior.

Aleonysh [2.5K]
The belief that was generally held by the delegates to the constitution of the constitutional convention of 1787 was that the United States required a strong central government to steady the ship. To maintain order and progress swiftly, the country needed a strong central government that should have unchallengeable power. Slavery was another issue that the people wanted to abolish. It was a long pending issue that needed to be addressed by the central government once and for all. The people also felt that general tweaking of the Articles of the Confederation was required.
