The correct answers are less; more.
Even though adolescents fight a lot among themselves, they certainly do not fight as much as they do with other peers - for example, friends of the same age are likely to fight less than they fight with their siblings or parents. On the other hand, when close friends do fight (which is probably not often), these fight tend to be very emotional and passionate.

The correct answers are less; more.

Answer 1: Conflicts between adolescents and their close friends are less frequent than they are between adolescents and other peers.

Adolescents are less likely to have vast differences with their close friends in terms of values and beliefs, due to which conflicts between them are not very frequent. On the other hand, conflicts between adolescents and their peers might be more frequent because they might not have much in common with their peers and hence might disagree and have conflicts with them.

Answer 2: Arguments between close friends are more emotional.

Adolescents are more likely to have emotional arguments with their close friends compared to other peers simply because they are more emotionally invested in their bonds with their close friends, and arguments with them are more significant since they can potentially risk their close friendship. Arguments with other peers are less emotional because there is not as much at stake in case the argument cannot be resolved.

Ghella [55]

Answer:

d) step migration across member states to a final destination.

Explanation:

Step migration is a pattern of migration which was first propounded by Ernst Georg Ravenstein in 1885. He observed that modern migration involves step by step pattern where migrants from rural places slowly moves closer and closer to urban places.

In modern times, transnational migration mostly occurs through step migration. For instance, international students are granted citizenship in the countries where they study if they prove to be skillful and productive. It is a step by step process.

Similarly, permanent citizenship is granted to migrants if they prove to have settled and worked in a member state country of a particular region or union. Here, the refugee entered the European Union in Italy and was housed in Germany for sometime. This shows that he/she has been living in Germany for sometime and therefore, gets asylum and citizenship in Sweden as these countries all belong to the same union and region.

Identify the three main reasons why peace has not been reached between the Palestinian Arabs and the Israelis. Imagine you are t
Helga [31]

Answer:

Palestinian Arabs and Israelis have been in constant conflict with each other for over 50 years. There have been attempts to resolve the conflict and make peace. However, these attempts have been unsuccessful for three reasons: disagreement upon borders for the state of Israel, indecision on what to do with the current Palestinian refugees, and the refusal of other Arab states to recognize Israel as being a state. These are three difficult dilemmas that have caused the region terrible grief throughout the years. If I were the leader of a country that was trying to help the two sides reach peace, the first step I would take would be to have the leaders of Israel and Palestine sit together in a room to discuss their main concerns over the three issues. I would then ask the two sides to come up with possible solutions to those issues. Once the two sides had ideas for solutions, I would ask both sides to explain where they might be willing to compromise. Once the two sides made some compromises, I would help them create a process of how to implement the changes in the region.
