We have the first expression:
5x + 7y = 295

We have the second expression:
10x + 3y=150

Solve for y and x:
x = (295 -7y)/5
10 ((295-7y)/5) + 3y  = 150

590 - 150 = 14y -3y
y=40 points

solving for x:
x = (295-7*40)/5
