Ok, so we have three pen cups, each with two pens in them. One cup has two black, one cup has two red, and one cup has a black a
nd a red pen in it. The cups are labeled BB, RR, and BR, but someone has switched the labels and replaced all the pen caps with blue caps. There is no way to visually tell what color each pen is. Assuming that none of the labels are correct, what is the minimum number of pens we would have to test in order to be able to tell the color of all the pens *
All the cups are in there correct spot and the labels are fine also.
(then someone had to come in dis room with BLUE CAPS AND REPLACE ALL OTHER THE CORRECTLY ORDERER PEN CAPS WITH BLUE PEN CAPS AND SWITCH THE GOSH DARN LABELS. THANKS ALOT, TIM) anyways... i say that the minimum numbers of pens you can test is about 4. probably....
