Given: Z = 0.43Y + 12 ; What is Y when Z = 28
jolli1 [7]
Z = 0.43Y + 12; Z = 28
28 = 0.43Y + 12; insert value of Z
16 = 0.43Y; subtract 12 from both sides
37.21 = Y; divide both sides by 0.43; rounded to nearest hundredth

Shania had $20 to spend on seven raffle tickets. After buying them she had $6. How much did each raffle ticket cost?
kogti [31]

Answer:

$2

Step-by-step explanation:

Total money Shania was having = $20.

After buying raffle tickets she was having a total of $6.

Thus ,

The money she spent on the raffle tickets = Money she was having initially -

                                                                         Money she was having after

                                                                         purchasing tickets .

                                                                 = $20 - $6

                                                                 = $14.

Thus She spent a total of $14 on tickets .

Now , number of tickets she bought = 7.

So, cost of each ticket = \frac{Money spent}{Number of tickets} = \frac{14}{7}

                                                          = $2.

Thus , each ticket costs $2 for Shania.

Im dying bro help The vertices of a quadrilateral are (2, 3), (3, 8), (7, 5), and (6, 2). Draw the quadrilateral in the coordina
Solnce55 [7]
Okay to the first number in the ordered pair is the x and the second is the y. So (x,y) when you put a dot on the coordinate plane such as (2,3), you have to go the the horizontal line which is x and go over right 2 spaces(depending on how many numbers is one space) then go up 3. Do that same thing for each of the order pairs. Eventually you will have 4 dots. Connect those dots then you will have the quadrilateral. I hope this helps you!
